Ég sendi fólkið mitt til landanna, til dæmis, Portúgal, Spánar og Írlands.

Þar finna mínir menn verkefni sem virðast geta staðið undir sér,

það er, borgað sig sjálf.

Verkefnin eru til dæmis hótel, verksmiðjur og íbúðarhús.

Í Bankanum hjá mér skrifa ég tölurnar í tölvurnar.

Þegar þeir í Portúgal, Spáni og Írlandi, hafa byggt,

hótelin, verksmiðjurnar og íbúðarhúsin,

þá eru eignirnar að veði fyrir tölunum,

í tölvunum hjá mér.

Ég átti ekkert nema tölur á blaði, en nú eiga eigendur eignanna

að greiða mér þær til baka á til dæmis á 20 árum

og auðvitað vexti líka.

Mér leiðist svona bið og vil fá eignirnar til mín strax.

Það er óþolandi að Íslendingar eigi allar orkulindirnar, Venesúela olíuna,

og þetta og hitt landið hin ýmsu auðæfi.

Ég veraldarbankinn, hætti að skrifa tölur, það er að lána fyrirtækjunum og fólkinu.

Þá stöðvast allar framkvæmdir og allir verða að selja til að fá upp í greiðslur,

en nú getur enginn keypt.

Þá fara allir að bjóða verðmætin á 50% lægra verði.

Nú kem ég bankinn og segi að þið eigendur eignanna áttuð 30%,

nú er það tapað, svo að nú tek ég allar eignir til mín,

og ráðstafa þeim upp á nýtt.

Með þessari fléttu er ég búin að ná eignarhaldi á stórum hluta af verðmæti veraldarinnar,

á tveimur til þremur árum.

Eignirnar sem mín klíka átti þurfti ég ekki að setja á hausinn,

við áttum það fyrir.

Nú tilkynnir litli bankinn,

eigið fé bankans jókst um 30 miljarða í síðasta mánuði.

One of the few exceptions is Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH),

who during the last Congressional session introduced H.R. 6550,

The National Emergency Employment Defense Act.

A revised version is expected to be soon reintroduced.

Americans would bewise to rally behind it.

Decades of distortion and deception can be remedied by this bill.

Public control of the money system is not a new practice.

The American colonists issued "Continentals" and the Lincoln administration "Greenbacks"

to fund the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, respectively

-- all debt and interest free.

More than 200 prominent economists during the Great Depression of the 1930s developed and endorsed "The Chicago Plan"

-- which declared that only the government should create money -- to address that crisis.

Ask your U.S. representative to cosponsor this act when it is reintroduced.

Ask your two U.S. senators to contact Rep. Kucinich about becoming a Senate sponsor.

This bill alone cannot solve all our current economic problems.

But it will end the private/corporate control of what should profoundly be a public democratic function of any society

-- issuing the nation's money.

Maybe more importantly, the act will serve as a beacon of hope

to a beleaguered citizenry who are seeking long-term solutions to unemployment, debt, crumbling infrastructure,

and need to take power over their lives and their society.
